About the Role
This is a
hands-on inbound sales role
, ideal for a motivated salesperson who excels in communication, follow-up, and relationship-building. You'll engage qualified leads generated through Elek's marketing programs – such as free trials, webinars, and LinkedIn outreach – to help them evaluate and adopt our software.
You'll work closely with our
Operations Manager
and collaborate with
technical engineers and product teams
during demos and evaluations. The role focuses on managing inbound leads, scheduling and participating in demo calls, nurturing prospects, and assisting with proposals and follow-ups.
We'll provide comprehensive training in our software and the fundamentals of electrical engineering design workflows, enabling you to engage with technical professionals confidently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and nurture
inbound leads
generated through free trials, marketing campaigns, and events.
Follow up promptly with prospects to schedule discovery and demo calls.
Participate in
demo meetings
alongside Elek's technical engineers, helping guide the conversation and ensuring customer needs are understood.
Clearly communicate the value and benefits of the product to electrical engineers and decision-makers.
Coordinate with engineering and product teams to prepare sample projects or tailored demo materials.
Maintain accurate records in
Freshsales CRM
, track opportunities, and produce reports with the Operations Manager.
Use
AI productivity tools
(Freshsales AI, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to personalise outreach, automate follow-ups, and streamline workflow.
Assist with preparing proposals, quotes, and documentation.
Collaborate with marketing to share insights from customer conversations and improve campaign targeting.
Be available for demo calls and follow-ups with international customers across multiple time zones (Europe and the US).
About You
2–5 years of experience
in
B2B software sales, inside sales, or customer success
, ideally within a technical or SaaS environment.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
Technically curious and eager to learn — able to understand engineering and software concepts with training.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple prospects in a CRM (Freshsales experience a plus).
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.
Enthusiastic about using
AI tools
to increase efficiency and engagement.
