BCR Communities has been providing community services since 1991 and due to an increase in demand for our services we are seeking to employ additional Community Care Worker to provide assistance to older people that live independently in their own homes.

We are currently seeking a casual Aged Care Community Care Worker.

The Role
This role involves visiting clients in their own homes and required all areas of Southern Shoalhaven - from Bay & Basin, Sussex Inlet, Bendalong, Manyana, Lake Conjola, Mollymook, Milton, Ulladulla to Burrill Lake
Services May Include
* Personal care such as assisting with showering, other personal support and providing medication assistance
* Shopping and meal preparation, assist with light housekeeping
* Respite and social support, share common interests and provide companionship
* Community Access
* Medication assistance
You Will Be
* Reliable and trustworthy
* An effective communicator

* Eager to learn and willing to embark on further training and development offered
* Enjoy providing a quality service with a focus on attention to details
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous caregiving experience is a plus
Applicants Must Hold (or Obtain Through Recruitment Process)
* Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
* First Aid Certificate
* Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification)
* Assist with Clients Medication certification
* Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
* Copy of uncertified driving record from Services NSW
* Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
* Working with Children Check Clearance
* COVID-19 vaccination
Hours And Shifts
BCR Communities is a family friendly and flexible employer with a wide variety of shifts.
As this is a casual position, however we require good availability, preferably 5 days per week
