tackle a new challenge and apply your maintenance expertise in a cutting-edge field.
you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electronic systems and associated equipment for railway projects, adhering to quality and health and safety procedures as planned by maintenance schedules.
* maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and adhere to all policies and procedures
* carry out routine examinations, fault finding, interrogation and diagnostic testing on electronic equipment and install system upgrades
* actively maintain and repair test benches and equipment in the workshop
* follow established safety procedures and good housekeeping practices, using safety equipment as required
* report daily and weekly on activities, problems found and measures taken
to succeed in this role, you should possess:
* qualifications in electronic repair
* good trouble shooting skills in electronic equipment
* experience with troubleshooting equipment linked to an electronic system (oscilloscope, multimeter, external power supply)
* esd knowledge and application
* experience in railway maintenance activity is advantageous
* capability of designing test procedures/benches is advantageous
* ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
