About the Role
Based in Tatura and reporting to the General Manager Business and Finance, this ongoing position leads the Information Technology function at GMW. The Manager Information Technology is responsible for ensuring the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the organisation's technology environment. This includes oversight of IT infrastructure, cyber security, and information management practices to protect business systems and data, while ensuring technology services are available, resilient, and fit‑for‑purpose. The role is pivotal in enabling staff to work effectively and ensuring the organisation's digital assets are safeguarded.
What you'll do:
* Lead and develop the Information Technology team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture.
* Oversee Information Technology infrastructure, cyber security, and information management to ensure compliance and resilience.
* Provide specialist technology advice and support to business units, driving improvements to processes and systems.
* Develop and maintain policies and procedures for information management and cyber security.
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring value and performance.
* Drive organisational change and continuous improvement in technology services.
What we're looking for:
* Experience at a management level leading Information Technology functions.
* High level of financial and commercial acumen.
* Strong understanding of leadership requirements in Information Technology environments.
* Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
* Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (desirable).
