Senior Full Stack Developer (Contract) | Brisbane / Adelaide | Hybrid (2–3 Days In Office Per Week) | $800–$900 Per Day inc Super | 6‐Month Initial Contract (With Potential Extensions Up To 2 Years)
The Role: An opportunity exists for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a high‐impact internal communications and digital services team. You'll be working on the evolution and modernisation of a core workflow management platform that supports enterprise‐wide communication and operational processes.
This role suits someone who enjoys hands‐on engineering, building scalable solutions, and improving existing systems in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications supporting internal communications and workflow management systems
* Modernise and enhance legacy components using a cloud‐first approach
* Build scalable backend services and APIs using .NET
* Develop responsive and performant front‐end interfaces using React
* Work within AWS environments to deploy, manage, and optimise applications
* Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation of delivery processes
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams including product, UX, and infrastructure
* Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and system reliability
* Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and developer experience
Technical Skills & Experience
* Expertise in .NET / C# backend development
* Strong proficiency in React (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks)
* Experience working with AWS cloud services
* Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience working on workflow systems or internal enterprise platforms (desirable)
* Strong understanding of API design, microservices, and system integration
* Experience working in agile delivery environments
Additional Information
* 6‐month contract with strong likelihood of extension (up to 24 months total)
* Hybrid working model: 2–3 per week onsite in Brisbane or Adelaide
