Volunteer - University of Queensland Liberal National Club
University of Queensland Liberal National Club is seeking motivated university students to join our volunteer team across media, events, and design.
This opportunity is suited to students with an interest in politics, public policy, communications, events, campaigning, leadership, networking, and centre-right/liberal-conservative ideas.
Applicants must be currently studying at The University of Queensland, Griffith University, QUT, or another recognised university in Queensland.
We are currently recruiting for volunteers across three key areas: Media Manager
The Media Manager will support UQLNC's public presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms. This role involves drafting and scheduling posts, promoting events and club updates, assisting with political commentary, and helping maintain a professional and consistent public image for the club.
Events Coordinator
The Events Coordinator will assist with planning and delivering UQLNC events, including guest speaker events, networking functions, policy discussions, campus activities, campaign events, and social gatherings. This role may involve helping with venue bookings, invitations, registrations, event promotion, run sheets, and guest coordination.
Design Officer
The Design Officer will assist with creating visual content for the club, including event graphics, social media tiles, LinkedIn banners, posters, promotional material, and other digital assets. This role is suited to someone with an eye for clean, professional design and an interest in strengthening the club's visual identity.
