Responsibilities
* Generating and qualifying leads, including self‐sourced opportunities.
* Develop and execute sales action plans and commercial‐segment strategies.
* Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline and manage customer data in Microsoft CRM365.
* Conducting direct marketing activities and participate in targeted conferences and sales events.
* Making sales calls and customer visits, delivering presentations and product training.
* Networking to discover the key stakeholders in target organisations.
* Uncover needs through key stakeholders meetings to lead KOMPAN's solution‐based offering.
* Preparing proposals with the support of other departments from within the organisation to address the customer's needs and ROI requirements.
* Developing concept designs in partnership with key stakeholders.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports on sales activity using CRM and Power BI.
* Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to support growth and future opportunities.
* Meeting monthly and annual sales targets while ensuring strong customer relationships.
Additionally, the role will involve developing and maintaining sales and promotional materials in collaboration with the Marketing team, responding to enquiries across phone, email, and in‐person channels, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Extensive national travel to key projects and client meetings as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years' experience in specification‐focused sales.
* Strong commercial and negotiation acumen in multi‐stakeholder environments.
* Proven ability to prospect, source leads, and identify new business opportunities.
* Experience within landscape, construction, industrial, or commercial product lines.
* Strong understanding of tenders, RFQs, and project‐driven sales cycles.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging varied stakeholders.
* Skilled in CRM systems, Excel, MS Office, and Power BI.
A Senior Secondary Certificate or equivalent, full working rights in Australia, and willingness for extensive national travel are essential.
