Dispatch Supervisor - Welshpool based Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor dispatch staff, including reviewing performance and organising work schedules.
* Operational Optimization: Oversee the daily dispatch and receival of goods and optimise our local fleet of rigid and semi trucks, ensuring adherence to company standards and high‐efficiency routing.
* Issue Resolution: Actively identify and resolve delays or service issues, coordinating directly with drivers and clients.
* Technology Management: Utilise transportation and freight management software to monitor operations and enhance efficiency day to day.
* Safety & Compliance: Ensure all procedures meet company, safety, and regulatory standards.
Experience Required
2yrs minimum experience in a similar role (Supervising 10+ team members)
Microsoft 365
Starting Requirements
* Pass a Pre Employment medical & D&A
* Reliable transport
* National police clearance (in the last 6 months)
* Ability to work 55+ hrs per week with late finishes Tuesday and Friday
* This is a full time role and will suit only Permanent residents
