The Role

Reporting to the Business Director, the NationalSales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic sales approach to strengthen existing customers partnership while also acquiring new partners to deliver on their measured, yet ambition market share growth plans.

Growing and coaching an emerging and diverse sales team, you will leverage your strategic and authentic leadership style to realise your team's commercial potential. Collaborating with senior leaders and business owners, you will support business wide strategies that improve the overall operation excellence of the organisation. You will personally drive and cultivate relationships with high value target clients while enhancing the reputation of the business as a data led, thought leader in the supply chain and transport industry.

The ideal candidate is a commercially savvy, proactive, ambitious and energetic sales leader eager to inspire a high performing sales team deliver great things.

Key Responsibilities:
* Through inspiring leadership, build, coach and develop your team to deliver key sales objectives
* Devise and embed a sales strategy that delivers short-medium-long-term objectives
* Through detailed planning, set stretch objectives and analyse performance through data
* Personally cultivate strong relationships with high value clients
* Support your team as they acquire and onboard new customer wins
* Leverage consistent market reviews to educate and remove blockers while developing organisation wide strategies to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
* Partner with senior leadership team to cultivate broader business strategies

What we are looking for
* Dedicated leadership skill and capability in solution-based selling across mid-large scale entities
* A commitment to achievement through creating solutions for clients and partners
* Track record of driving revenue growth and profitability across their teams/market segments
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects concurrently
* Able leverage technology to drive efficiencies that support deliver y of commercial outcomes
* Proven ability to build strategic relationship with a diverse mix of stakeholders and partners
* Understanding of/experience within the transport and logistics industry ideal
* Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field highly regarded
