We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Communications Technicians to join our growing WA team to work on a project in Rockingham. Reporting to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, you will be required to work on all aspects of Communications Infrastructure Installation.
What are we looking for?
* Highly motivated and adaptable qualified communications technicians
* Experience working on Cat6A cabling projects
* Experience working with Fibre optical cabling including splicing and testing
* Fault finding and testing experience
* Excellent work ethic – continuing to build our reputation for excellence
* Good attention to detail maintained when working to time constraints
* Strong understanding of safety, environmental and quality systems.
* Ability to work autonomously
What do I need?
* ACMA Licensed with the relevant endorsements
* 5+ years' experience in the industry
* Construction White Card
* EWP high risk licence
* Understanding of AS/CA S009:2020 and AS/CA S008:2020
* Experience on Communication fit-out projects
* Experience on Cat6/6A patch panel / comms rack fit off
* Experience with Fibre Optic Splicing and Testing
* Certificate III in telecommunications or higher
* Eligibility to obtain or Hold NV1 level security clearance
* Hold or be willing to gain vendor endorsements
