Job Description
A full-time opportunity exists for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team based in the Western Suburbs with some travel to the South East required.
As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day client activities for assigned properties and facilities. You will also serve as the on-site key point of contact for key stakeholders and clients.
Risk and Compliance Management
* Implement and maintain a property risk management program across all centres, ensuring audits are conducted regularly.
* Educate staff on escalation procedures and incident reporting processes, ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Ensure adherence to OH&S, Environment and Risk Management Policies and Procedures.
* Maintain awareness of relevant Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, Disability Discrimination Act regulations and other applicable laws.
* Health and Safety Management: Provide a safe working environment and ensure compliance with fire, health, and safety standards.
* Contractor Management: Manage contractors effectively within existing safe working methods and house rules to deliver services on time and within budget.
* Procurement: Ensure vendor procurement processes align with agreed client guidelines.
* Finance Management: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure centre operations budgets meet or exceed targets.
* Engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure on-site client expectations are met.
* Build and develop effective client/stakeholder relationships across multiple organisational levels.
Monthly Reporting
* Incident reports for the previous month, including recommendations for remediation if necessary.
* Budget status updates.
* Contract expiry profiles.
* Status of risk and compliance regimes.
* Status of planned and preventative maintenance programs.
