Desired Skills and Experience What you'll need: A good driving history, with the capacity to learn to safely and reliably drive a heavy passenger vehicle.
Complete a National Police Check from Tasmania Police.
Hold (or can obtain) a working with vulnerable people (WWVP) card.
Have held a current, full Australian Driver's Licence for at least 2 years.
Have full working rights in Australia.
Pass a pre employment physical assessment, including a Drug and Alcohol test.
Obtain a Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) licence.
Training You will commence your employment at Metro as a casual employee, working full time for the duration of your 6 week training program.
This allows for flexibility in your training schedule.
Don't have a heavy vehicle licence yet?
No worries You'll start your career at Metro with 6 weeks of paid, extensive training to get your medium rigid Metro licence.
