We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Post-Trade & Clearing Operations Analyst to join our growing global operations team. In this role, you will manage daily clearing and settlement workflows, ensuring the absolute accuracy and timeliness of trade executions. You will act as a key liaison with global exchanges, clearing houses, and prime brokers to handle clearing and settlement matters for complex cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute and oversee daily multi-asset clearing and settlement workflows, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Continuously monitor margin requirements, manage collateral allocations, and mitigate operational risks.
* Coordinate proactively with global exchanges, clearing houses, and custodian banks to resolve settlement exceptions, breaks, or discrepancies.
* Compile and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly clearing operations reports for management review.
* Participate in testing, upgrading, and optimization of our proprietary clearing and post-trade processing systems.
* Assist in the seamless execution and processing of corporate action events such as dividends and stock splits.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
* 1–3 years of proven experience in clearing operations, settlement, or middle/back-office operations within a brokerage, prop firm, or financial institution.
* Solid understanding of the clearing and life-cycle processes of various financial instruments, including equities, futures, and forex.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with strong data analysis capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under tight operational deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
* Possession of RG146 compliance (Australia), CFA charter/candidate status, or relevant financial market certifications.
* Hands-on experience with Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, or similar financial data systems.
* Familiarity with the FIX protocol and automated post-trade processing workflows.
