7/7 roster, Wed to Tues, hour shifts. FIFO – Cairns or Darwin. Great Opportunity for a rewarding mining career.
About the Role
South32 together with WorkPac are commencing recruitment for Ancillary Operators to promote the equality of its workforce at Groote Eylandt Mining Company (GEMCO) in the Gulf of Carpentaria. Successful candidates will be FIFO from Darwin on a 7/7 Roster and be fully committed to a rewarding career in the Mining industry.
Responsibilities
* Operate Excavators and Moxy Trucks in a mining environment.
* Work 7 on, 7 off roster and cover Day and Night shifts.
Qualifications
* Minimum 12 months production mining experience operating 30T Moxy Trucks (or higher) and 30T Excavators (or higher)
* Experience in Poly Welding, Bob Cat Operation, Dewatering and Blast crew would be beneficial
* A residential address within 1 hr of Darwin
* A current Heavy Rigid Licence (Manual)
* Ability to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol screening
