Insurance Duck Creek Policy & Claims Tech Lead

At HAYLO People, we specialise in recruitment across General Insurance and Personal Injury. We are looking for both a Duck Creek Policy Tech Lead and a Duck Creek Claims Tech Lead with deep experience in general insurance and a strong track record of leading Duck Creek Policy & Claims implementations. In this role, you'll oversee a small team and P&C product design & implementation using Duck Creek.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Duck Creek Policy & Claims implementations and enhancements.
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand policy and claims related requirements.
* Design and develop product models, rating algorithms, and business rules using Duck Creek Author and Manuscript.
* Oversee configuration, integration, and deployment activities across environments.
* Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to architectural standards.
* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
* Coordinate with QA teams to validate Claims functionality and support UAT.
* Stay updated on Duck Creek platform enhancements and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
* Duck Creek Certified and experience.
* Expertise in P&C insurance Claims/policy lifecycle including quoting, issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
* Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) and SaaS delivery models.
* Proficiency in .NET, XML, XSLT, and web services/API integration.
* Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
