Core Talenthave partnered with a well‐established Tier 1 electrical contracting company delivering large‐scale design and construct projects across Australia's construction and infrastructure industries. Due to multiple project wins the business is experiencing strong growth and requires an experienced Senior HV Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of multiple turnkey electrical projects.
In this role, you will focus on the design, documentation and technical delivery of electrical systems from post‐sales through to project completion for data centres, metro stations, tunnels, and other infrastructure builds. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs are compliant, efficient and value engineered as well as being delivered to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical design scope of work.
* Provide input into project estimates and project schedules.
* Offer value‐engineered solutions to the estimating team, site construction teams, and their clients.
* Provide project support, on‐site construction support and commissioning technical support.
* Mentor and lead Junior/Intermediate Engineers.
The Ideal Candidate:
* 5+ years experience as an HV Electrical Engineer
* Experience in substation and distribution systems design up to 132 kV
* Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code relating to electrical services
* Worked within an electrical contractor or design consultancy
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
