The Marketing & Communications Manager is a hybrid role that blends content, social media, on‑site campus activity and digital marketing. You’ll plan, create, and manage content and marketing assets that build our brand, grow our audience, connect with future students and our growing community in a way that feels real, local, and exciting.
This is the perfect role for someone who’s just as confident behind the laptop planning and copywriting for various channels as they are out in the field — engaging with people across our campuses and clinics, plus overseeing content creation that serves our marketing objectives.

What You’ll Do
1. Social Media & Digital Content
- Plan and run the content calendar across key events and enrolment periods to support enrolment targets
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure accurate, timely and compelling content is delivered for marketing campaigns and lead generation activity
- Manage social content and asset deliverables (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) alongside our Digital Marketing Manager and agency partners
- Create, brief, and manage content — including engagement with our QLD campuses and student clinics for assets, scheduling posts or filming social videos in person.
- Coordinate content calendars and assets suites with our Marketing Coordinator, external creators, and freelancers
2. Marketing & Brand Communications
- Work with the Head of Marketing and wider management team to build and execute activity plans and compelling messages that support lead generation and enrolment targets for our courses
- Support brand marketing communication alongside timely digital initiatives and optimisation requests (e.g. A/B testing, segmentation, personalisation and lead capture)
- Marketing campaign planning alongside our Digital Marketing Manager and copywriting across all marketing touchpoints, from SMS to SEO to long‑form course descriptions.
- Own and drive timeframes for asset delivery, designer requests and accurate course collateral updates, alongside the marketing team.
- Provide input and guidance on communications to students to support course progression and alumni to support ongoing engagement with the DEG brands
- Report on ROI and performance metrics for brand activity, initiatives and effective communications.
3. Events, Campus & Clinic Marketing
- Manage initiatives that drives engagement and awareness of our courses, areas of study, our best‑in‑class student experience
- Work closely with our on‑site trainers and sales teams to support Expos, Open Days, Webinars, Student Orientation and Trade Events
- Support the marketing team with various incoming requests for assets, copy, content and execution of marketing and communications for our clinics
- Attract, maintain and retain enrolments through key messaging that ultimately increase lead generation.
You’ll bring
- 5–7 years of experience across brand marketing, content creation, and social media.
- A sharp understanding of digital strategy — from social to paid to email
- Experience in campaign planning, brand communications and marketing support for the beauty, wellness, retail or education industry.
- Strong copywriting skills and creative instincts, with an eye for what performs for our student target market
- Deep understanding of uses of content and copywriting for different platforms, including brand SEO
- Confidence briefing agencies, building out internal marketing calendars and brand copy
- Experience creating assets in their distinctive formats for organic social, paid media and email marketing that resonate with our brand tone of voice
- Organised, proactive, approachable, you’ll thrive working independently in a passionate, capable small team
