Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We provide a range of services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, including ambulatory, inpatient, home and community‑based services. On 1 January 2026, Alfred Health will merge with Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Peninsula Health, Bass Coast Health and Gippsland Southern Health Service to form Bayside Health, a newly merged service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians. The new entity will offer comprehensive care and expanded career opportunities. Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all current employees will transfer to Bayside Health.

About The Role
The Team Leader – Cloud Computing is responsible for leading a high‑performing team focused on the design, implementation, and optimisation of cloud and on‑premise infrastructure and services. This role ensures the organisation’s cloud environments are secure, scalable, cost‑effective, and aligned with industry best practices. A key focus is driving cost optimisation, automation and operational excellence across public, private and hybrid cloud platforms.
About You
* Proven experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with leadership responsibilities.
* Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud models.
* Expertise in cost optimisation tools and techniques (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management).
* Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
