Animal Centre for Emergency and Specialities (ACES) is a new, purpose-built specialist and emergency referral centre in Perth's Northern Suburbs, opening August 2026. We are proudly independent, locally owned, and deeply connected to our community. The Opportunity
We have exciting openings for experienced veterinary or medical receptionists eager to join a brand-new, spacious, multi-disciplinary specialist hospital from the ground up. At ACES you will:
* Be a founding team member and help shape the culture and client experience from day one
* Work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside leading specialist vets and nurses across Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging
* Handle a genuinely varied caseload — no two days are the same in a 24/7 specialist and emergency environment
* Have your voice and ideas genuinely heard in a practice built to do things differently
About You
As the first point of contact between ACES and our clients, you are one of the most important members of our team. We are looking for someone who is:
* Outgoing, dynamic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
* A confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills
* Collaborative, adaptable, and able to problem-solve on the go
* Professional in presentation and sensitive in communication style — particularly when supporting clients through difficult moments
Preferred Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy reception role
* Strong preference for candidates with a veterinary, nursing, or medical/healthcare background
* Experience with ezyVet software is highly desirable but not essential — full training provided
What We Offer
* Core hours are Monday–Friday across two shifts (7:00am–3:00pm and 11:00am–7:00pm), with a rotating roster that includes some weekend shifts (7:00am–3:00pm and 3:00pm–11:00pm) to support early surgery drop-offs, pick-ups, and emergency admissions
