What is the Opportunity?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Specialist to join our passionate, highly driven and successful Queensland sales team.

The primary focus of the role is to sell and promote Arjo products & services to new and existing customers within the Aged Care Sector, including quarterly business reviews with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
* Network widely with key opinion leaders throughout the Aged Care sector/facilities within the nominated territory of QLD South.
* Lead the conversation with facility executives in order to identify, grow, develop and maintain key customer relationships.
* Identify new high‐growth markets for new products.
* Develop strategic plans and business strategies for new products.
* Identify new revenue streams for existing product lines and lead annual market analysis by gathering intelligence on customers and competitors.
* Grow, maintain, manage and retain existing rental and consumable accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 3 years of medical sales or similar experience selling directly into the Aged Care sector.
* Tertiary qualifications in a healthcare discipline, or nursing background preferred but not essential.
* A growth mindset and a belief in continuous improvement of personal and professional outcomes.
* Authentic and outstanding consultative selling and active listening abilities, with excellent interpersonal skills across all potential customers including executive level customers.
* Passion for exceeding customers' expectations.
* A proven sales record with the ability to meet quotas and a strong desire to succeed, working collaboratively with both customers and colleagues.
* Strong impact and presence with the ability to motivate and influence people, read body language, demonstrate authentic empathy, and navigate challenging conversations.
* A high level of confidence, persistence and comfort within the Aged Care setting, including executives within facilities.
* Local knowledge of the Aged Care market and established relationships with current and potential customers.
* Excellent organisational, time management, planning and analytical skills with personal accountability, drive and initiative.
* A high level of empathy and sensitivity to aged or disabled residents and staff in health and medical settings.
* Computer proficiency in MS Office and experience with a CRM system (Salesforce is desirable).
* Up‐to‐date vaccinations such as COVID‐19 and influenza, as required by the nature of our customer base.
