Capability Dependency and ILS Manager – Defence client role. Contract of 24 months, based in Canberra, office‐based. The role starts in the new financial year.

Overview

The Capability Dependency and ILS Manager is responsible for coordinating and prioritising capability interdependencies and delivering fit‐for‐purpose Integrated Logistics System solutions. The role requires experience in military networking, integrated logistics, Defence strategic review context, and expertise in analysis, engagement and communication.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead the identification, detailed description, mapping and confirmation of client‐sponsored capabilities with dependent projects, capabilities and enabling dependencies.
* Lead the coordination of contemporary and fit‐for‐purpose Integrated Logistics Services for department projects and capabilities.
* Prioritise, plan, coordinate and execute engagements with dependents in support of dependency and ILS management.
* Represent department interests in dependency management forums and facilitate information exchange between the department and stakeholders.
* Collaborate, coordinate and inform the delivery of contemporary Integrated Logistics System(s) for department‐sponsored capability.
* Record, publish, maintain and disseminate department dependency data in the required artefacts and repositories, including maintaining summary data in Capability One.
* Record, publish, maintain and disseminate department ILS data in the required artefacts and repositories, including maintaining summary data in Capability One.
* Represent the leadership across service and group headquarters, interfacing projects and specialist areas within Defence, as directed.
Mandatory Skills, Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in a relevant field.
* Experience operating and/or maintaining network communications.
* Experience sustaining military communications capability.
* Experience with One Defence Capability System.
* Experience delivering communications technologies.

The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizen with a minimum of NV1 Security Clearance.
