Tareve Transport & Heavy Haulage operate across Queensland, Western Australia and remote regional locations. We specialise in bulk haulage, heavy haulage and logistics support across mining, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating and allocating heavy haulage, container and general freight movements across East Coast operations
* Scheduling trucks, trailers, drivers and subcontractors
* Booking port container collections and deliveries
* Managing machinery transport logistics for civil and mining equipment
* Assisting with transport quotations and pricing requests
* Liaising directly with clients, drivers, port operators, depots and subcontractors
* Monitoring fleet movements and responding to operational changes
* Coordinating permits, escorts and route requirements where required with support from Permits Officer
* Assisting with fatigue compliance and driver scheduling
* Managing breakdowns, delays and urgent operational changes
* Raising purchase orders and coordinating operational purchases when required
* Working closely with the workshop and compliance teams to maximise fleet availability
* Maintaining accurate operational records and system updates
Qualifications
* Previous experience in transport allocation, heavy haulage or container logistics
* Experience coordinating port logistics and container freight movements
* Knowledge of civil and mining machinery and transport requirements
* Experience preparing transport quotations and coordinating client enquiries
* Understanding of NHVR fatigue and Chain of Responsibility requirements
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Strong problem‐solving ability and initiative
* Identify additional opportunities with existing customers
* High attention to detail and time‐management skills
* Professional phone manner and customer service skills
Essential Requirements
* Must be available to respond to phone calls and operational matters outside standard business hours when required
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced operational environment
* Transport industry experience is essential
* Knowledge of civil and mining machinery and transport requirements
