About the Role
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will take ownership of site operations across our machining and inspection services. You'll be responsible for driving productivity, leading a skilled team, and delivering strong commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations across the facility
* Drive production output and achieve revenue targets
* Manage P&L for machining and inspection activities
* Lead, coach and develop a skilled team
* Ensure compliance with quality and industry standards
* Optimise equipment utilisation and operational efficiency
* Manage inventory, materials and workflow (WIP)
* Strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers
* Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
* Deliver training and uplift capability within the team
About You
You're a proactive and capable leader with strong operational and technical experience, ideally within machining or industrial manufacturing.
* Experience in a supervisory or management role
* Trade background in machining or similar technical field
* Exposure to oil & gas or drilling environments
* Strong understanding of CNC machining and engineering drawings
* Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
* Familiarity with lean principles (e.g., 5S, continuous improvement)
