About the Role
This is not just another dozer role.
We are seeking experienced CAT Dozer Operators to join National Group at the Sino Iron Mine, supporting major Tailings Storage Facility construction works on a CAT D11T.
For operators who take pride in working big gear properly, this is an opportunity to get behind the controls of one of the most recognised and powerful dozers in the industry. You will be working in a large-scale, safety-critical civil mining environment, shaping embankments, managing material, supporting lift construction and playing a key role in delivering engineered TSF outcomes.
Experience on the CAT D11T will be highly regarded, however operators with proven experience on CAT dozers who are ready to step into a large production dozer environment are strongly encouraged to apply.
Position
CAT D11T Dozer Operators $ p/h full time
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a CAT D11T dozer across TSF construction works at Sino Iron Mine
* Carrying out ground-up construction works on a new Tailings Storage Facility
* Building, trimming and maintaining embankments to support lift raising activities
* Managing stockpiles and material blending to meet specification requirements
* Supporting engineered material placement in line with construction sequencing
* Working around large-scale mining equipment in a controlled civil construction environment
* Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting defects
* Working within TSF QA, material control and safety processes
Requirements
* Proven experience operating CAT dozers in a mining, civil or bulk earthworks environment
* Experience operating a CAT D11, D10 or similar large dozer will be highly regarded
* Strong interest and capability to operate a CAT D11T in a large-scale TSF construction environment
* Previous experience in mining, civil construction, dams, TSFs or large-scale earthworks
* Ability to complete a mask fit test
* Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and equipment care
* Good communication and problem-solving skills
* Understanding of engineered fill placement and QA/QC environments will be highly regarded

* 2:1 rotating day/night roster
* Flights provided ex-Perth
* ASAP start
