Key responsibilities
* Install, troubleshoot, upgrade and perform preventive maintenance on diagnostic instruments.
* Respond swiftly to site breakdowns, ensuring compliance with SLAs and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Maintain inventory levels and ensure all equipment adheres to regulatory and quality standards.
* Conduct site evaluations, customer training, and technical support remotely and on-site.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with product and process teams.
* Accurately document all service activity within required systems and follow safety protocols.
What you'll need
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering or Science discipline, restricted electrical licence is highly valued.
* 3–5 years' experience in field service, technical support or electronics repair, preferably with medical/diagnostics equipment.
* Strong understanding of electronic testing tools, electrical systems, and diagnostic devices.
* Australian citizen or PR with current driver's licence and the ability to travel within VIC region.
* Excellent communication skills in English; capacity to work independently and under pressure.
* Ability to lift and manipulate equipment up to 85 lbs (39kg) when required.
* Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call roster, with response times within 2 hours.
