Charles O'Neill is a specialised 80-bed Residential Aged Care home located in Mayfield West, Newcastle, supporting some of the community's most vulnerable people. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager who has a genuine interest in aged care, mental health, and giving back to the community.

Reporting to the Residential Manager, you will provide clinical leadership and day-to-day support to our clinical and personal care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

* Delivering consistently high-quality clinical care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Catholic Healthcare policies
* Leading, coaching, and developing clinical and care teams to achieve positive resident outcomes
* Maintaining safe clinical practice and compliance, including infection prevention and control
* Supporting a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement
* Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance resident wellbeing

Qualifications

* Bachelor of Nursing qualification
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Min 4 years stable Care Manager or equivalent experience
* In-depth knowledge of Aged Care Legislation, Quality Standards, and AN-ACC processes
* Proven clinical leadership in aged care or mental health
* Willingness to obtain a Police and NDISWC
