Disability Support Role
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers. This role involves providing care and support to people with disabilities, helping them live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
* Connect clients with local activities and recreational interests
* Support daily living skills such as shopping, cooking, travel, and training
* Perform domestic assistance tasks (e.g., mopping, vacuuming, gardening, feeding pets)
* Provide meal assistance and preparation
* Assist with showering, dressing, and personal care-related tasks using manual handling aids if appropriate
* Book appointments, assist with shopping, pay bills, liaise with service coordinators
* Accompany clients to social groups and other activities as required
* Travel and transport clients
* Socialise with clients
This role offers part-time hours and varied shifts, requiring the ability to commute to Epping VIC and participate in shift work, on-call, and potentially evening or weekend work.
Requirements
* Qualifications in Certificate 3 Aged Care or Certificate 4 in Disability/HACC/Individual Support
* A current First Aid Certificate and CPR
* A current Victorian Drivers licence
* Access to a car
* Proof of eligibility to work in Australia (Passport or Australian Citizenship)
* A Police check dated within the last 3 months
* At least six months experience working in Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care is preferred
* A Working With Children Check and Police Clearance Check
* Proof of COVID vaccination status (3 shots)
