About the Role

Set in lush surroundings, Healesville Home provides excellent person‐centred care in a friendly, secure, comfortable environment with elegant sitting rooms, generous outdoor courtyard areas, tranquil landscaped gardens and paved walking tracks for residents to socialize with family and friends.
Responsibilities
* Prepping food and drink for residents.
* Cleaning (including dishes) and maintaining a spotless kitchen.
* Updating the menu, creating meals that cater to each resident's preferences and dietary needs.
* Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
* Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
Qualifications
* A real desire to make a difference in people's lives.
* Experience in kitchen work – aged care experience is a bonus.
* Excellent time‐management and planning skills.
* Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
