CBRE Data Center Shift Lead Technician
As the Shift Lead Technician, you will oversee the team responsible for advanced preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function, focusing on technical maintenance in critical client environments.
Responsibilities
* Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, and oversee the workload, deadlines, and day‐to‐day activities of support team members to ensure effective delivery of services. Provide holiday, training and sickness cover for other members of the shift team.
* Ensure daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment are conducted.
* Verify the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
* Assist staff with difficult planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment as needed.
* Review meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities to ensure accurate information and present to management and key stakeholders.
* Confirm safety processes and requirements for all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
* Review quality checks and retain comprehensive maintenance records.
* Develop and implement advanced work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.
* Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job‐related responsibilities.
* Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
* Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in‐depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
* Coach others to develop in‐depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
* Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipate potential objections and persuade others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.

* QHSE – responsible for administrative tasks related to QHSE.
* Reporting and management of work management system.
* Logging hazards & customer feedback on the QHSE Management Portal.
* Logbook compliance.
* Maintaining compliance with all mandatory training.
* Receiving supplier quotes and uploading onto the internal system for client approval.
* Constantly improve quality, service and efficiency.
* Process improvement.
* Being a person who can be turned to for expert knowledge, advice, or reliable performance, especially in a crucial situation.
Qualifications
* Trade school diploma/certificates with 4–6 years of job‐related experience. In lieu of trade certificates, a combination of experience and education will be considered; in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
* Certificate III – Electrical/Victoria Electrical License Non‐Restricted OR Air conditioning & Refrigeration Certificate III with valid ARC license.
* Driver's license.
* Australian Citizen – NV1 Clearance.
* Ability to work shifts that may include weekends and holidays.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

* In‐depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

* Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial‐related calculations.
