Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to drive Motor Claims business performance through continuous improvement, data reporting and insights, to support for key stakeholders. Working collaboratively within a team of specialists this role is responsible for identifying information needs and ensuring appropriate analysis and reporting are undertaken to drive improved controls and performance.
Leadership and direction of Business Performance Analyst to deliver outcomes.
A high degree of commercial acumen and being able to articulate and communicate operational performance using indicators and insights is key.

Position Accountabilities
* Lead self and Business Performance Analyst to manage an analytics and reporting function responsible for providing business intelligence, analysis and reporting to support informed decision making for key stakeholders, with clearly articulated, actionable insights which are timebound and measurable.
* Drive daily, weekly and monthly data driven operating rhythm
* Collaborative with the Business Performance community of practice across the virtual team, including development and application of architecture, patterns and standards relating to data, analytics, and commercial insights
* Identify, design, build, and deliver continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiencies and productivity, focused on controls across the motor claims lifecycle, with data driven solutions.
* Management of key stakeholders - Business Operations Leaders and other stakeholders
* Collaborate with Leaders and Finance to prepare forecasts and the annual business plan
* Build and maintain strong and strategic relationships working cross functionally to ensure optimal business outcomes
* Identify risk and opportunities based on market conditions and customer needs
Knowledge and Experience
ESSENTIAL
* 5 or more years of experience in a business performance / analytics role translating business strategy and objectives, business information and data into actionable insights that achieve higher levels of business performance credible interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data
* Proven experience leading continuous improvement
* Credible interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data
* Strong influential and communication skills.
* Previous experience leading a team of specialists
DESIRABLE
* Financial services, general insurance, and claims management preferred.
* Business degree or post graduate qualification in Information Management, Business, Finance, Statistics or Mathematical qualification.
* Systems: Intermediate Power BI, Intermediate SQL
