Wagga RSL Club, a beloved community hub in Wagga for over 70 years, is looking for an Apprentice Chef (1st, 2nd or 3rd Year) to join our talented kitchen team. As Wagga's premier social venue, we are committed to providing exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests.
The successful applicant will gain exposure in a large commercial kitchen, operating a café, bistro and function centre. You will be nurtured by qualified chefs with diverse backgrounds and experience, who gill guide you as you gain experience in all areas of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals across various sections.
* Follow recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
* Work under the guidance of senior chefs to develop techniques and kitchen knowledge.
* Comply with food safety regulations and workplace policies.
* Participate in on-the-job and off-site training as part of your apprenticeship.
About You
* A genuine passion for food and a desire to learn.
* Punctual, reliable, and hard-working.
* Willing to commit to completing a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
* A positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
* Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
* Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
