Heavy Diesel Technician Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician to perform ongoing maintenance and optimization of our heavy earthmoving fleet.
* Perform regular checks and maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
* Provide technical support to the rental fleet as required, ensuring seamless operation and minimizing downtime.
* Work safely and adhere to relevant health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies and procedures to minimize the risk of injury to yourself and others.
* Ensure all maintenance targets are met on time and within budget, promoting efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to achieve larger organizational objectives, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional results.
Requirements:
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
* Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, including Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
* Recognized National Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Fitter Trade Qualification.
* High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.
* Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR license preferred).
* High risk license (preferred) but we also offer in-house training.
