Call Centre & Work Order Administrator

Permanent role at Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane, Queensland.

Contract type: Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, with possibility for extension.

Shift Schedule

* Day shift: 6:00am – 7:00pm
* Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 11:00pm
* Graveyard shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am

Key Responsibilities

* Manage & Integrate Work Orders – Develop, maintain and integrate preventive, corrective and statutory maintenance work orders; ensure smooth flow of work orders to reduce backlog and rework.
* Data Governance & System Integration – Ensure asset and maintenance data is accurate, complete and aligned between Downer and Defence systems; support system integration tasks including manual data entry, triage, report extraction, and updates to master data and task libraries.
* Stakeholder Support – Support trades with credential approvals; assist Defence Base Services Contact Centre interactions; provide administration support to the Works Centre team; liaise with technical leads, delivery teams, subcontractors, Defence stakeholders and consultants; contribute to customer‐focused solutions that enhance the Defence experience.

Required Qualifications

* Ability to obtain and retain relevant Defence Security Clearance.
* Cert III in Business Administration, Customer Engagement or a relevant qualification.
* Experience in a customer service or administrative role, with high‐level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Understanding of the interface between technical work processes and customer service requirements.
* Accuracy, organization and time‐management skills.
