Volunteer Role: Food Preparation Assistant
Days & Times: Monday and Wednesday mornings, 9:00am – 12:00pm
Help nourish your community by joining our kitchen team! Volunteers assist with preparing meals that are served later in the day to those in need. It's a hands‐on, rewarding role in a friendly and supportive environment.
Key Tasks
* Washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
* Preparing rice, pasta, and other staples
* Mixing salads, sauces, and dressings
* Cleaning benches, sinks, and utensils
* Managing food scraps and waste responsibly
* Sweeping and mopping kitchen floor

Commitment : Regular - less than 6 months
Type Of Work : Food Preparation & Service
Time Required : Suggest potential volunteers call at office, Monday or Wednesday mornings just after 9am, talk with Jase.
Training : On the job training provided, along with an induction.
