Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Swim Teacher to join the team on a casual basis.
You will teach effective swimming and water safety to help grow our swim program.
You should be passionate about safety around the water, energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun, with outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students of diverse ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team and make a real difference to the community
- Teach swimming and water safety to students
- Engage with patrons to ensure a protected and enjoyable visit
- Work with children in a friendly and engaging manner
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Understanding of OHS and public safety in a facility context
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable People
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- Current Swim Teacher Certificate
