Remuneration Package
Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

St Johns Park High School is a proud comprehensive school of over 900 students, where more than 90% of students are from a language background other than English. It includes a Special Education unit with five designated classes with mild to severe intellectual disability and autism and six classes in 2026.

Teachers are involved in action learning, research, collaboration, data analysis and professional learning to continually reflect on and improve their practice.
Responsibilities
* Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Autism (Secondary), Mild Intellectual Disability (Secondary) and Moderate Intellectual Disability (Secondary) and emotional disturbance and behaviour difficulties.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Personalised Learning and Support Plans that create differentiated learning experiences, fostering student growth and engagement in an inclusive learning environment with high expectations.
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with parents, staff and external agencies to develop, implement and evaluate quality personalised learning and support plans to facilitate improved student learning outcomes.
Qualification Requirements
Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. Applicants must hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education or commence the application process at the same time as they apply for this teaching opportunity.
