Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Gunnedah Basin Haulage at Whitehaven Coal. Hands-on role maintaining a fleet of Scania A-doubles to keep operations safe, reliable and on schedule.
What You'll Do
Perform all required repairs and maintenance on our Scania A-doubles
Work autonomously to meet production targets and deadlines
Demonstrate a commitment to safety with visible safe work practices and adherence to JSA protocols
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to complete work orders effectively
What You'll Bring
Proven experience as a heavy diesel mechanic, with expertise in maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers
Experience with Scania trucks (a bonus, but not essential)
Relevant trade qualifications and hands-on industry experience
A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
A Current Drivers Licence
