A well-established, company is seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding operations in SA.
With a strong pipeline of work and a growing fleet, we're looking for team players who take pride in what they do.
About the Role
You will play a key role in maintaining a reliable and safe fleet of heavy vehicles, supporting daily operations both in the workshop and out in the field. These are hands-on roles with variety and long-term potential for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Diesel Mechanic Tasks:
* Service and maintain a range of trucks and trailers
* Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs (engines, brakes, transmissions)
* Ensure compliance with all safety and roadworthiness standards
* Keep clear and accurate maintenance records
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
* HC licence preferred
* Strong mechanical and safety knowledge
* Ability to work unsupervised and within a team
* A positive, reliable attitude
* Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
* Minimum 3-5 years of heavy vehicle diesel mechanic experience required
