Overview
Air Liquide Healthcare Australia is a leading supplier of medical gases, homecare and sleep services, with a strong reputation in respiratory diseases and sleep diagnostics. The Regional Manager reports directly to the State Manager and leads regional execution of home oxygen, sleep and nursing home business lines.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and supervise all regional home healthcare operations, including road safety standards, driver training, coaching and IVMS management.
* Ensure uninterrupted supply of sleep products to CPAP clinics, medical gases and equipment to patients, nursing homes and clinical partners.
* Account for and maintain all diagnostic and therapeutic assets using the Great Plains ERP system, following preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
* Recruit, onboard, coach and manage a diverse team of direct reports and regional agents, aligning daily objectives with strategic KPIs and development frameworks.
* Maintain comprehensive safety scorecards, operational audits and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external healthcare regulations.
* Manage regional stock levels, lead stocktakes and collaborate with National Supply and National Operations teams to mitigate supply chain risks.
* Champion safe usage and patient education, ensuring patients are fully comfortable with their life‐changing medical equipment.
Qualifications
* Proven leadership and management experience in operational teams, performance reviews and goal setting.
* Strong operational and technical acumen, understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies and regulatory inspection requirements.
* Proficiency in root‐cause analysis and risk‐assessment methodologies to resolve operational concerns.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to clinical partners and executive management.
* Digital literacy with strong computer skills, including Google Workspace and ERP systems (Great Plains advantage).
* Strong organizational, project‐management and prioritisation skills, with a track record of driving initiatives to completion.
* Autonomous, problem‐solving, and able to thrive in a dynamic operational environment.
