Initial 12 months contract opportunity (with view to extend)
$450-$500 per day including super (daily rate)

Field Operations Technician – Mobile & Internet Support
We are looking for a skilled Field Operations Technician and play a key role in maintaining and upgrading mobile and internet infrastructure across Australia’s leading telecom networks. This is your chance to apply your technical expertise, work independently on critical network operations, and collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure seamless service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent technical activities to maintain, service, and upgrade customer mobile and internet infrastructure, ensuring SLA/CSL compliance.
- Execute reactive, corrective, preventative maintenance, and network upgrades across telecom (fixed & mobile) and non-telecom (electro/mechanical & site) systems.
- Monitor and report on network performance, support acceptance of network elements, and manage escalated operational issues.
- Collaborate with Field Operations teams, subcontractors, and third parties to resolve outages, investigations, and special network issues, including after-hours support.
- Lead work activities and undertake special assignments as required by the Field Operations Manager to ensure smooth network operations.
Required Skills
- 2-4 years Field Operations Technician related experience in Mobile Network Field Maintenance
- Experience in Network Operations Management, Fault Management, Configuration Management
- Local experience with leading Australian telecom providers
- Field Services tickets support and coordination
- Good understanding of Security Management
- Solid customer engagement and internal support skills, in dealing with day-to-day activities
- Experience in deployment of Mobile Equipment is a plus
