Estia Health Wattle Glen is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Assistant/Officer (Personal Care Worker - Wellbeing) to join the team on a Fixed Term Part Time Contract.
Contract Details
Fixed Term Part Time role, approximately 6 months with potential to become permanent. The position is 4 days per week, Monday through Thursday, 09:30 am – 04:00 pm.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, fun and varied activities to ensure residents have their best day, everyday.
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home.
* Assist with direct care activities as required and learn residents' personal interests to develop innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.
* Serve as a reliable team player with energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians.
Qualifications
* Energy, passion and commitment to enriching the lives of older Australians in a fun, dynamic and varied environment.
* Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Passion for building genuine relationships and a desire to see residents enjoying themselves.
* High energy and engaging wellbeing approach.
* Driver's licence and confidence to assist elderly with bus trips.
