Role Description

This is a full-time, on‐site Level 1/2 Helpdesk Support Officer role based in Brisbane City, QLD. The successful candidate will provide front‐line technical support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network inquiries. Key responsibilities include logging and managing helpdesk tickets, escalating complex issues as needed, assisting with device setups and configurations, and maintaining clear communication with staff and students. This role is essential in delivering efficient and effective IT support to ensure minimal disruption to the School's day‐to‐day operations.

Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service‐oriented approach to engage effectively with staff and students.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
* Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical solutions to non‐technical users.
* Experience in providing technical support, particularly in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
* Familiarity with operating systems, software applications, and network configurations is a strong advantage.
* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work in a fast‐paced educational environment.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
* An interest in promoting innovation and technology integration within an educational setting is highly valued.
