**Main Duties**:
- Backup for Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable team leaders - including running payment runs
- Provide assistance in the travel and credit cards area - via creating QBT profiles, monitoring the inbox, Quality Assurance of credit card transactions
- Manage customer queries via the helpdesk in relation to accounts payable, accounts receivable and debt management queries
- Develop and maintain relevant policy and procedural documentation
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- General Ledger monitoring and clearing for month end
- **Have a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable function including debt management**:
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn recent concepts quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide solutions to routine issues
- Capacity to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and adapting positively to change
- Ability to review and verify data with attention to detail and
- Experience in systems similar or preferably have worked in SAP
- Previous experience working within a Government Department
Essential requirements:
- Have an active/ inactive **Baseline Security Clearance**:
- Be an **Australian Citizen**:
- Experience with SAP _(desirable but not essential - will train fully in SAP) _
- Proficient with computers and able to lean new systems quickly
