The opportunity
You will work alongside an existing Sales Manager, with each role operating independently across defined areas of focus while sharing knowledge, insights, and opportunities. Both roles report to the Global Commercial Manager.
This is a high‐autonomy position suited to a commercially driven professional who is comfortable taking ownership of their pipeline and delivering results.
The role
As Sales Manager – Gyro Stabilisation, you will drive sales growth across:
Boat builders / OEMs (newbuild specification)
Dealers and marine partners (channel sales)
Direct customers (owners, operators, fleet managers, defence)
You will play a key role in positioning VEEM's stabilisation solutions early in the vessel lifecycle, ensuring strong specification outcomes and successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute a structured sales plan to grow gyrostabilizer sales across priority segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with boat builders, dealers, naval architects, and end customers
Drive early‐stage specification into vessel design and refit programs
Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to close and handover
Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and service teams to ensure practical and deliverable solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting discipline
Represent the business professionally across customer engagements and industry interactions
What we're looking for Experience
Proven success in B2B sales within the marine, engineering, or related industrial sectors
Experience selling into OEMs, project‐based environments, or through dealer/distributor networks
Exposure to technically complex products or engineered solutions
Marine industry experience is preferred but not essential
Experience with OEM or boat builder clients is a preferred advantage
Skills and attributes
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage a structured sales pipeline
Confidence engaging in technical and operational conversations with customers
Excellent relationship‐building and stakeholder management capability
Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team environment
High level of professionalism, ownership, and accountability
Requirements
Current driver's licence
Willingness to travel extensively
Police clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
