The Role
The Targeting Quality Program (TQP) is a partnership between ACECQA and the QLD Department of Education. The Quality Support Facilitator, Targeting Quality Program provides tailored professional learning and support to participating QLD education and care services. The program's purpose is to support sustained quality improvement in participating education and care services through, tailored support over a sustained period. Further to this, the Targeting Quality Program will also support the QLD regulatory authority with professional development in building the capability to achieve consistency in regulatory practice.
This role is full time (with consideration for part-time arrangements 3 - 4 days per week) and fixed-term (until 30 June 2026) at ACECQA Band 5 ($103,179 - $122,039).
The key duties of the position include
Key Accountabilities
• Utilise qualified learning and support approaches, including coaching techniques, to support children's education and care services to build on their capability to meet or exceed the NQS and/or the National Law and National Regulations.
• Build and maintain collaborative, effective and genuine working relationships with identified services and other stakeholders to gain commitment, achieve program outcomes, and quality improvement and/or legislative requirements under the NQF.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively within the DPP and LQRS teams, and across ACECQA, to achieve the identified objectives and results.
• In collaboration with the Manager, Targeting Quality Program, develop interactive, engaging, and relevant qualified learning materials for webinars, communities of practice, workshops, resources, meetings and other activities as needed, for participating services to support the TQP program and outcomes.
• Ensure program related documentation is developed, accurate, managed and appropriately stored to comply with all ACECQA policies and procedures and stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare briefs, reports and advice, and respond to regular and urgent requests for information and updates as required.
• Conduct, deliver and assist with organising travel, service visits, meetings, conferences, webinars and/or events located across QLD as required by the TQP project schedules.
