Keramos Pty Ltd based in Canning Vale is rapidly evolving as a market leader in high quality steel fabrication in the mining and manufacturing market sectors. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and as such, we are looking for a Trade Assistant to join our steel fabrication team.
Salary package dependent on experience.
You must have the commitment and dedication to be able to achieve high standards of work. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Transport of Materials to and from Vendors and Clients.
* Responsible for incoming and outgoing goods. Packing materials, unloading & loading of trucks. Collecting materials and returning administration paperwork.
* Assist Boilermakers where required with fabrication Projects.
* Learn to operate fabrication equipment safely as required.
* Undertake general maintenance duties as required i.e. maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workshop.
Desired skills and experience
* Sound knowledge of safe work practices
* Manual Driver's Licence is a must
* Valid Forklift licence is a must
* Use of gantry crane
* Able to use a variety of hand tools and/or from a trade background
* Numerically proficient, with legible handwriting
* The ability to read and follow drawings preferable
* Eager to learn new skills
* Attention to detail maintaining a high standard of work.
* Fit and healthy with a positive \"can do\" attitude
* Team player
* Good organisational skills and time management
* Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
* Ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn
* High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
* Capability to work on your own without management and have the discipline to maintain standards and deadlines.

Additional Requirements
Applicants must live locally, ideally within 30 minutes from Canning Vale and be a permanent resident of Australia.
