We're seeking a seasoned environmental professional to spearhead environmental approvals in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive environmental impact studies and reports with terrestrial and/or marine components, documenting baseline information, potential impacts, and recommending management actions.
* Craft approval strategies and provide strategic advice to engineering teams and clients on approval strategy and risk.
* Prepare permit and approval applications and modification documentation.
* Implement environmental management plans and monitoring programs.
* Manage field work for data gathering in terrestrial and aquatic environments, adhering to our health, safety, and environmental system.
* Conduct environmental risk assessments for various developments.
* Perform surveillance inspections and audits for different projects.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields of study.
* Extensive experience as a practicing environmental professional.
* Demonstrated expertise in coordinating or delivering WA State and Commonwealth environmental approvals.
* Experience interacting with regulatory authorities such as the EPA, DWER, LGIRS, and DCCEEW.
* Excellent communication and technical writing skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A flexible, adaptable, and problem-solving mindset to handle evolving project scopes, priorities, and schedules.
* Able to work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
