Job Title: Aps 6 Qualitative Data Analyst
At our federal government client, we are seeking experienced qualitative research analysts to support the analysis of public consultation data related to disability supports. This short-term opportunity involves working across the full data cycle, from transcription and coding to synthesising insights and supporting reporting.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Transcribe and verify audio/video submissions
* Organise and prepare data for analysis (e.g., NVivo, spreadsheets)
* Code qualitative data and identify themes
* Collaborate to ensure rigorous and consistent analysis
* Synthesise findings and support reporting through summaries, charts, and presentations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in qualitative research methodologies
* Proficiency in NVivo or similar tools
* Strong analytical and written communication skills
* Understanding of bias in qualitative analysis and mitigation strategies
* Experience in health/disability research (highly desirable)
