Are you an experienced administrator looking for a meaningful role in a values‐driven organisation? We're seeking a part‐time Administration Officer to support our Behaviour Support team in Bundaberg. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for new NDIS referrals and participant intakes, ensuring smooth and respectful communication. You'll also support our team with essential administrative tasks and accurate data management.
This position is ideal for a return‐to‐work parent or a student in psychology, allied health, or community services. Part‐time hours are flexible (24 hours per week over 3 or 4 days), with potential to grow into a full‐time position.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage new NDIS referrals and intake processes with care and professionalism.
* Provide timely and respectful support to participants and their support networks. Address inquiries and provide clear information about our services and the process.
* Maintain up‐to‐date and compliant data in line with NDIA and organisational standards.
* Coordinate appointment bookings, respond to phone/email queries, and support day‐to‐day operations.
* Assist with data collation for monthly NDIS reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, ideally within the community, health, or disability sector.
* Knowledge of the NDIS, including experience with NDIS systems and processes (PRODA experience highly regarded).
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
* Strong interpersonal, organisational, and customer service skills.
* High attention to detail with experience in data entry & record management.
* Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and exercise sound judgement.
* Current Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
