About the Role
As Concierge, you will be front of house for our residents and their families. You will ensure that the process of admission into residential aged care is smooth, seamless and a positive experience for everyone involved. You will maintain communication with residents and families on our waitlist and facilitate tours of our Wagga Wagga home. Moving to residential aged care can be a difficult time in our residents’ lives, so a sensitive and consumer‑oriented approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that rooms across all residences maintain satisfactory occupancy.
- Liaising with key stakeholders (hospitals, ACAP, social workers, medical practices and aged care placement agencies) to assist in maximising bed occupancy.
- Organising and scheduling appointments with potential clients to showcase requested residences.
- Facilitating and organising admission paperwork and ensuring assessments are current.
- Providing a smooth transition of the admission process into the residence.
About You
- Excellent customer service delivery.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant agencies and internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to delegate and prioritise tasks and be results oriented.
- Demonstrated experience in the coordination and delivery of administrative services in a health, community or residential aged care setting.
- Knowledge of financial requirements for admissions into an aged care facility.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Current drivers’ licence.
